Are Approaching –– Register
Today for the 2010 Annual Meeting and Seminars
You still have time to register for the CPCU Society’s 2010
Annual Meeting and Seminars, Sept. 25–28, at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
Celebrate with the 1,200-plus new designees and learn how to thrive in
a challenging economy. Highlights include former Florida Governor Jeb
Bush’s keynote address, general sessions on crucial insurance
and risk management topics, and more than 40 seminars. And back by popular
demand: The Women’s Forum will address vital issues affecting professional
women in today’s insurance industry. |

Return Your CPCU Society
Ballot
Cast your vote in the 2010 election of CPCU Society leaders and vote on
a proposed Bylaws revision. Look for your official ballot in the July/August
issue of CPCU News. Ballots must be postmarked on or before Aug.
5 and be received by the Society no later than Aug. 12. If you haven’t
received a ballot by July 19, send an e-mail to Mary

The Institutes Launch
New Contest for Chapters
CPCU Society chapters are encouraged to participate in The Institutes’ new
CPCU Candidate Outreach Contest. The contest is designed to encourage interaction
among chapters and people pursuing the CPCU designation. In a recent study,
The Institutes found that the more contact CPCU students have with their
local chapters, the more likely they are to complete the CPCU program and
ultimately become CPCU Society members. Learn more about the contest. |

Marla J. Redding, CPCU, an assistant vice president in the Construction
Services Division of Murray Risk Management and Insurance in Lancaster,

from workers worldwide. In “Recognizing

bullying, risk exposures to employers, economic costs of bullying and
