We're just one week away from kicking off the CPCU Annual Meeting, right here in American's Finest City. Our Chapter closed Q3 with 101 members. Many of you registered to volunteer your time and help us host this year's conference with 47 total across Southern California, thank you! We're expecting approximately 1,600 attendees from Chapters across the globe. We still have 4 extra volunteer shirts left. If you or a someone you know is working towards their CPCU and would like to volunteer at the conference, please contact me. For those that have already registered, you will be receiving additional parking and meeting room instructions shortly. Again, thank you for your dedication to insurance continuing education and the San Diego community. There are still time slots open Saturday morning to help build care packages for Promises2Kids who the CPCU Society chose for this year's Good Works Project. Thank you to ICW Group and my fellow board members for your help making this happen. Promises2Kids helps create a brighter future for over 3,000 foster youth in San Diego County. Later this year we'll also be partnering with the non-profit group Honor Flight in support of San Diego veterans. You may have seen them on the local news last week. We're excited to be able to work with another great organization this year as part of our annual Good Works Luncheon, set for December 5th. Special thanks to Joy Robinson for your contribution and help making this happen. More details to come. Lastly, please make sure to spend a few minutes completing our annual Chapter Membership Survey. New for this year, we added a nomination section for the AJ Romero Memorial Volunteer Service Award and Company of the Year Award. We look forward to hearing your feedback and announcing the winners later this year. #StayClassyCPCUs Jason Hopkins, CPCU
